Blossom Bowl

The Blossom Bowl is exactly that – a bowl for blossoms. Perhaps you have a few choice blooms or components left from another larger ikebana study, or you would like to make a small arrangement just for its own sake.

The kenzan (“pin frog”) is securely attached to the center of this wide-rimmed bowl, so that a short or tall arrangement will remain where you place it, no fear of it “uprooting” or falling over. The water in the bowl reflects the flowers elegantly, and ensures long life for the blossoms. The feet added to the bottom of the bowl physically and visually lift the entire arrangement just enough to provide an untethered appearance.

Available in several sizes, from 6 inches to 16 inches in diameter. Color is basic black – the formal hue compliments whatever blossoms, buds, or branches you choose. Prices start at $40.
